Just over a week ago, Angie Harmon went to social media to reveal that there will be not one but two Buried In Barstow sequel movies! Furthermore, the latest Production Weekly also listed Buried In Barstow 2.
Originally made for Lifetime, this action thriller stars the Rizzoli & Isles alum, along with Hallmark Hunk Kristoffer Polaha, Bruce McGill, Lauren Richards, Nelson Bonilla, Timothy Grandaderos, Ben Cane, and more.
This movie was written by Thompson Evans, and directed by Howard “Howie” Deutch. Deutch directed some classic movies including Pretty In Pink and Some Kind Of Wonderful-which starred his wife, actress and director Lea Thompson. He has most recently been directing episodes of Will Trent.

Here is what Buried In Barstow is about. This is the story of Hazel King. She is a single mom who has a teenage daughter. This Mama Bear owns a cafe in Barstow, California. She meets a man named Elliot, who becomes her dishwasher and romantic partner.
However, she has a few secrets of her own. It turns out that she is a former mob hitwoman who has to fulfill one last hit that she is obligated to do.
There are plenty of secrets, lies, and full-on action in this thriller. Moreover, despite some revelations, it ended on a cliffhanger.
Thankfully, after a four-year wait, there will be another movie.
What Do We Know About Second Barstow Movie?
Currently, we know very little about the second and third Buried In Barstow movies. For example, there is no information on which actors will return or who will direct. But, we know a couple of things from four years ago.
Back in 2022, Kristoffer Polaha had told the Deck The Hallmark podcast that he signed up for four movies in the series. He also said that the second movie script was ready.
