The Hallmark Channel has released their August 2026 romcom schedule and it is fantastic! Many fan-favorites are back including Kimberley Sustad, Chris McNally, Rhiannon Fish, Daniel Lissing, and the very unexpected, but welcome reunion of Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater leads Ashley Williams and Niall Matter.
But there is more!
After a five year absence, Desperate Housewives alum Jesse Metcalfe is back! fans of his Martha’s Vineyard Mystery series and Chesapeake Shores have not seen him in a Hallmark Channel movie or series since 2021!
Next, Will Kemp is back. Fans of the Christmas Waltz star have not seen him in a Hallmark Channel movie or series since My Sweet Austrian Holiday with Brittany Bristow back in 2024!
Also, Aimee Teegarden is finally back. The Friday Night Lights star was last on Hallmark in An Easter Bloom back in 2024.
Lastly, Torrey DeVitto is back after taking a break to be a mom and a return to Chicago Med. The last time Hallmark viewers saw her on the feel-good network was in the 2023 romcom, Love’s Greek To Me.
Although the network has not shared what the new August romcoms are called or if they will continue the Summer Nights theme, these movies will take viewers to Italy and Australia, as well as the concert stage, and the reimagining of a classic tale by The Bard. There is even a movie with a mystery man.

Toast To Italy Kicks Off Hallmark Channel’s August Movies
Toast To Italy premieres on Saturday, August 1, at 8 p.m. on the Hallmark Channel. This movie stars Torrey DeVitto and Will Kemp.
“Jenny travels to Italy for a special bottle of wine for her sister’s wedding. She meets Arrigo, also looking for the famous “Love Wine” and together their search leads to a love of their own.”
Jesse Metcalfe Returns To The Hallmark Channel In Absolutely Devoted To You
Absolutely Devoted To You premieres on Saturday, August 8, at 8 p.m. Eastern on the Hallmark Channel. This movie stars Kimberley Sustad and Jesse Metcalfe.
“An ambitious TV producer devises a brilliant plan to reunite a 90’s boy band for an annual summer beach bash, but her idea is derailed when she falls for the band’s reluctant lead singer.”
Does this mean viewers will get to hear Jesse sing? We can only hope so!
Rhiannon Fish And Daniel Lissing Star In Aussie At Heart
Aussie At Heart premieres on Saturday, August 15, at 8 p.m. Eastern on the Hallmark Channel. This stars Aussies Rhiannon Fish and Daniel Lissing. Will they speak in their native accents?

Much About Love Is Hallmark Channel’s Much Ado About Nothing
Much About Love premieres on Saturday, August 29, at 8 p.m. Eastern is Much About Love. This reunites Ashley Williams and Niall Matter.
“A TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of Much Ado About Nothing.”
This looks like a fun lineup of August movies, albeit, it is disappointing that there is zero diversity.
