On Saturday, Garage Sale Mysteries returned with Murder Takes The Stage. In this Lizzie Borden-themed mystery, Lori Loughlin’s Jennifer Shannon has to solve a closed-room mystery with the help of all of her friends.
Thankfully, all of the familiar faces were back including Steve Bacic as Jennifer’s husband, Jason Bacic. They are now empty nesters are enjoying their time together.
Connor Stanhope is back as son, Logan Shannon, and Eva Bourne as daughter, Hannah Shannon.
To round out the OG cast, Sarah Strange is back as Jennifer’s best friend and business partner Dani. Also, Kevin O’Grady returns as Detective Frank Lynwood.
There is a load of buzz over this mystery return. The biggest is that everyone is back, and it feels like no time as passed-although it has been seven years between the last mystery of the series and this 17th episode of the series.
Now, Sleuthers want to know if Hallmark will make more of this mystery series.
Here is what Lori Loughlin had to say.
Lori Loughlin Talks About Future Of Garage Sale Mysteries
Before the Hallmark Channel premiered the Lizzy Borden-themed Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes The Stage, Lori Loughlin spoke to Avery Thompson at TV Insider about the series and whether there will be more mysteries in the Hallmark Mystery series.
Lori’s answer was cautious, yet optimistic.
I think we’re talking about possibly doing more, but until we get that green light, anything can happen.
In other words, it all depends on ratings. Should the response be positive, there are rumors that there are two more Garage Sale Mysteries on the docket should Murder Takes The Stage be a success.
Currently, Sleuthers can check out this new Hallmark Mystery on Hallmark+.
