Just as Hallmark is about to launch Countdown To Christmas 2026, there was some production news that Sleuthers who love Curious Caterer Mysteries will want to know now.
Although Hallmark has not announced anything about this mystery series that stars two of the biggest stars of the network–Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker, it appears that this series is finally returning!
Here is the latest news!
New Curious Caterer Mystery Listed On Production Site
It has been two years to the week since the last Curious Caterer Mystery, Forbidden Fruit, premiered. Sleuthers have been asking the stars Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker about the future of this mystery series.
Now, we may have an answer–although Hallmark Media has not made any sort of announcement.
On Thursday, Production Weekly released their latest publication for October 15, 2026. Included in that list is Prime Cut: A Curious Caterer Mystery.
Currently, there is no other information. There are no filming dates listed at this time. Furthermore, the network has not made any sort of announcement or social media post about this movie
While this news is a positive indication, Sleuthers may remember that just five months ago, the Crown Chats podcast had interviewed Andrew about the future of the Hallmark mystery series.
Haley, the host of the podcast shared that she had previously spoken to Nikki about the series. Nikki revealed that they were “still in talks that there would be another movie or two.” She also pointed out that Nikki shared that if the series ends, iw would “end with. wedding.”
During this interview, Andrew said that although Nikki was more knowledgable, he wanted to make more of this series. Sleuthers certainly may remember that the network had originally planned two movies in 2025, and they were postponed. Therefore, Sleuthers should remain cautiously optimistic that this new movie will happen.
Hallmark mystery fans can feel at ease when the two Curious Caterer stars share posts from the set.Nonetheless, this is the most promising news we have had about this series and the future of mysteries at the feel-good network.
We will be looking for more evidence and information in the coming weeks. It seems that Nikki and Andrew will have some time to film in early November, between the Hallmark Cruise and the Hallmark Experience. That seems to be the perfect time slot to film Prime Cut: A Curious Caterer Mystery.
