Subsequently, the Paging Mr. Darcy star shared that they filmed this movie in Melbourne, Australia, her hometown! The second most populated city in Australia, this beautiful city is often referred to as the “Sporting Capital of the World.” This is the home of both the Formula 1 race each season, and the ATP Tennis Grand Slam Tournament. Melbourne is the kick off spot for both the F1 Season, and the Grand Slam season. Even the movie’s title has a sporty flair!
This Aussie city on the bay has a diverse culture and a high quality of life. Most of all, it is beautiful. Therefore, viewers should expect a lot of beautiful scenery to go along with this travel-themed story. Moreover, as they filmed in August and early September, during the Southern Hemisphere’s beautiful Springtime.
Most importantly, the On The 12th Date Of Christmas star also shared that she is the actor, writer, and executive producer! This movie, which was originally called Her Aussie Romance, is directed by Colin Budds.
