Hallmark’s ‘Lost In Paradise’ Kicks Off 2026 Winter Escape
The Hallmark Channel is kicking off its 2026 Winter Escape programming with Lost In Paradise. This romcom stars Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding. In this new romance, these two very attractive people find themselves stranded on an island. Needless to say, love is inevitable, as is adventure, and comedy.
When the founder of a high-end fashion company gets marooned on a ‘deserted’ island with a chef, romance blossoms as they work together to survive.
Where Was Hallmark’s ‘Lost In Paradise’ Filmed?
In the first Hallmark movie of 2026, Lost In Paradise, Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding’s characters find themselves marooned on a deserted island. Where did they film this movie?
Although the network often uses Vancouver, BC, Canada for a cornucopia of productions, Hallmark splashed out and filmed this movie in Fiji. This turned out to be quite an adventure!
Speaking to Good Morning America, Chabert revealed that to film her first scene, she had to use a rope to get to where they would film.
When we had to use a rope to climb up a mountainside the first day of filming to get to set, I knew this was going to be a true adventure!
Next, she shared how much she loved the warm people of Fiji. Lacey also gushed about Fiji itself. “Filming Lost In Paradise in Fiji was the most incredible experience.”
Lacey Chabert Had To Face Her Fears
Classic movie character Indiana Jones has ophidiophobia. But IRL, Lacey Chabert started the movie afraid of snakes. However, the Mean Girls star shared that she overcame her fear of the slithering reptiles.
When I showed up on set, and there were not one but five snakes, I was counting them the entire time. I’m keeping an eye on all of you.
But I actually faced my fear, and I ended up holding a snake by the end of the day.
This is not the first adventurous movie that Lacey was part of for the feel-good network. When she starred in The Christmas Quest with Kristoffer Polaha for Countdown To Christmas 2024, they had to wear crampons to climb a glacier to film some of their scenes.
