On Sunday, Variety shared some welcome news about The Way Home. The publication reported that Chyler Leigh, Evan Williams, and Sadie Laflamme-Snow shared this announcement at the ATX TV Festival over the weekend.
Here are the details.
The Way Home Playlist Dropping On Friday, June 12
The highly anticipated The Way Home playlist will drop on Friday, June 12. It will be available on streamers such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon.
However, there are two songs that will not be added until a later date. They are songs from the final two episodes of the Hallmark series, which ends with Season 4.
Some of the songs included are performed by Sadie Laflamme-Snow including “By The Light Of The Moon,” and “Where This Water Meets The Sea,” as well as “Everything I Wanted.”
This collection includes “Summer Breeze,” the iconic Seals & Croft song, sung in duet by Laflamme-Snow and Jordan Doww.
It is important to acknowledge the contribution of Keith Power, as the series composer, as well as music supervisors Jennifer Pyken, and Ann Kline, who found some meaningful songs for the various time periods.
The music is such an integral part of the series. co-showrunners Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke shared their joy of providing fans these special soundtrack to the time-travel series.
We are beyond delighted to be able to do this for The Way Home fans, who have been asking for the release of our incredible original songs and score since Season 1,
Music has always been such an important element of our show – not only because it’s a huge passion for our Landry family across several generations, but because it’s such a poignant and perfect way to mark the new eras and time periods that our characters have gotten to explore.
The Way Home Season 4 airs on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. Eastern, on The Hallmark Channel. All aired episodes are available to stream on Hallmark+. Seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Netflix, with Season 4 available later this year.
