The Biltmore, used with Hallmark Media’s permission

The production for Hallmark’s sequel to A Biltmore Christmas is underway! This time around, the 2026 Countdown To Christmas movie will be time traveling to 1915, the Gilded Age. This movie is allegedly titled A Grand Biltmore Christmas, and stars Holland Roden and Niall Matter. Once again, Marcy Holland wrote the script for the sequel. In addition, Dustin Rikert is directing. Last year, he directed Holland in Holiday Touchdown: A Bill’s Love Story.

This week, production has begun. Moreover, some of the stars have been photographed for press day. They are wearing big coats so that they are hiding their gorgeous Keith Nielsen costumes. Hallmark does not want these luscious details spoiled before the holidays.

However, what is most intriguing is that two stars are back for an exciting cameo.

Here are the details.

Rachel Boston & Wes Brown Returning To ‘Biltmore Christmas’

One of the biggest surprises from the new production of A Grand Biltmore Christmas is that Rachel Boston and Wes Brown have been confirmed to return to the second movie with cameos.

Many fans will remember that in the OG Biltmore movie, the Check Inn To Christmas stars are portraying acts who star in the remake of His Merry Wife, the movie that Kristoffer Polaha’s character was starring in, and Bethany Joy Lenz’s character wrote with the alternate ending.

Of course, there are no details shared about their unexpected cameo. However, we are all here for it!

Jonathan Frakes Is Also Back For Hallmark Sequel

Rachel and Wes are not the only ones to return to the Biltmore. Legendary Star Trek star Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker) is also back. Will he return as Winston? It certainly sounds like it. But will his role be changed or Winston’s role in time-travel explained?

Fans will have to wait until around Thanksgiving, when A Grand Biltmore Christmas should premiere.

St. Bernard Will Be Part Of ‘Biltmore Christmas’

Back in December, A Grand Biltmore Christmas production company, Synthetic Cinema, went to Instagram to share an unusual casting call. They were casting for a “sweet, well-behaved St. Bernard to appear in an upcoming movie for a one-day shoot in the Asheville, North Carolina area.”

What sort of role does this St. Bernard play? And why a St. Bernard and not a Pug or a Siberian Husky? This adds to the intrigue of this time-travel holiday movie.

What Is ‘A Grand Biltmore Christmas’ About?

What is this sequel to the fan-favorite A Biltmore Christmas about?

This movie starts out at the Biltmore House when it first opened, on December 24, 1895. Thirteen-year-old Elizabeth and her family are holiday guests. However, she notices Michael, a trespasser, at the luxurious property. When they meet, they have an instant connection. But suddenly, Michael vanishes.

Next, it is 20 years later. Elizabeth is back at the Biltmore House, along with her Aunt Maysilee and suitor James. Her aunt wants Elizabeth to marry him, but she is not so sure. However, at the Christmas gala, her fate changes. A man asks her to dance. It is Michael! When she throws her arms around him, they are transported to present day.

She learns that 20 years ago, Michael had used the hourglass at the Biltmore to transport back in time. Now, she is trying to get back to her time.Things get a bit complicated as Michael is there with his mother and sister. They need to sneak around to figure out how to get her back to her time.

However, the longer she is with Michael, the more she doubts her reasons for going back.
