Hallmark’s Christmystery Mistletoe Murders is unlike any other mystery series that the network has ever had. Sure, this is the first mystery series where there is a murder during the Hallmark holiday, but there is more. This is a series with a lot of action. Often compared to Veronica Mars, this series offers a lot of action.

Does Sarah Drew Do Her Own Stunts In ‘Mistletoe Murders’?
Hallmark’s mystery series Mistletoe Murders has a lot more action than the average movie on the network. In the series, Sarah Drew portrays Emily Lane. She owns a Christmas shop that celebrates the holiday season 365 days a year in the quaint town of Fletcher’s Grove. (Yes, Murder, She Wrote fans, it is an homage to Jessica!)
While Emily is an affable shopkeeper, it turns out that she has a secret past that has given viewers some Veronica Mars vibes. That means when Emily is not putting up twinkle lights or wrapping gifts, she may be beating up some bad guys. Does this mean that Drew is doing her own stunts?
The answer is sometimes. Most recently, when Hallmark was filming Season 2 of the hit series, Sarah found herself getting injured. In an Instagram post, the Grey’s alum shared that she broke her left hand!
She revealed that she broke her hand doing a stunt. Thankfully, she has a stunt double, E. Nova Zatzman, who filled in while Sarah went to the ER to get medical treatment. This close-knit group all helped the actress by staying the night with her, as well as getting her to a second ER visit. Her costar Peter Mooney helped her get home to Los Angeles after they completed filming Season 2.
This led her to gush over her wonderful Mistletoe Murders community.
This show has been my favorite job I’ve ever had. This cast and crew is the most incredible community. Sometimes it takes something hard to show you what you’re made of and to remind you how blessed you are.

Firstly, all of Season 1 is available to stream on Hallmark+. Best of all, there are two free options to determine if you want to subscribe. Firstly, the network offers a one-week free trial. You will have to provide a credit card for that option,. Therefore, if you don’t want your card to be charged, be sure to cancel in time. Second, use your library card using the Hoopla app. This allows you to check out a free week of the streaming service. This can be done many times during the month, depending how much other media you should check out.
Next, the Hallmark Channel is airing two episodes every Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Mistletoe Murders is incredible! I hope Hallmark renews it for Season 3! Sarah Drew, Peter Mooney and Sierra Marilyn Riley are all amazing. I love the Audible with Cobie Smulders too.
