Model, actress, and writer Brooke Shields is starring in he new Acorn TV mystery series You’re Killing Me. Originally called Allie & Andi, Shields portrays Allie, a bestselling novelist. She “forms an unlikely alliance” with a podcaster and writer, Andi. Allie is determined to track down the killer of her close friend.
Amalia Williamson’s character, Andi is described as “a sassy Girl Wonder who was once an up-and-coming celebrity, until she lost it all.” As for Cavanagh, he portrays Jack. He is the new lead detective of the Founders Cove Police Department. He used to live in the big city, but now is navigating his work in a small town.

Brooke Shields is the star of the new Acorn TV Series You’re Killing Me. This is not her first mystery series. She previously starred with Brennan Elliot in Hallmark’s Flower Shop Mysteries. All three movies are available to stream on Hallmark+. She will also be a guest star in the upcoming Season 13 of When Calls The Heart, reprising her role as Charlotte Thornton.
Fans of Sullivan’s Creek know Amalia Williamson as Lola Gunderson in the hit CW show. This series is number one in Canada and has recently been added to Netflix. They have been in production filming Season 4.
Lastly, Tom Cavanagh is well known for his cornucopia of his dastardly roles including The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. As for mysteries, he starred alongside Kimberley Williams-Paisley, and Wendie Malick in several of Hallmark’s Darrow and Darrow Mysteries. Last season, he also starred in a two-part Mistletoe Murders episode, “Death Of A Humbug.” Needless to say, fans can guess who the humbug is!
