On Monday, Acorn TV announced the January 2026 premiere schedule of My Life Is Murder Season 5 starring Lucy Lawless. The first episode will drop on Monday, January 5. There are many guest stars and even a double episode in Fiji.

Lucy Lawless portrays former police officer Alexa Crowe who is now a police consultant solving impossible cases. She has a close-knit team who help this bread-baking guru solve impossible to crack cases!

In this season, Lucy Lawless will be reuniting with her Xena: Warrior Princess co-star Craig Parker, as well as the return of Virgin River star Martin Henderson, who portrays Alexa’s charming but sketchy brother Will. Also, Academy Award nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes will also guest star.

There are many more familiar guest stars including two Brokenwood Mysteries stars Fern Sutherland and Johnny Barker. In addition, Dean O’Gorman and Kirk Torrance from Acorn’s Under The Vines are guest start, as well Nicole Whippy from Xena: Warrior Princess.

Don’t worry! The show’s regulars have returned as well. Ebony Vagulans is back as tech wiz Madison, Joe Naufahu as Reuben, Rawirri Jobe as Detective Harry.

My Life is Murder Season 5 includes 8 episodes, including a two-part season finale. Here are the episodes and the premiere dates.
