On Saturday, Lacey Chabert made a huge announcement at Disney that people off of social media found surprising. She is currently filming a holiday movie with Travis Van Winkle at Mickey’s house!
Although there have been several people sharing photos from the on-location filming and sharing them all over socials, People exclusively shared the big news confirming the Christmas movie Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.
Joining the Queen of Christmas was Mickey and Minnie in front of Walt Disney World Resort. Chabert shared, “Well, I bet you can guess where I am, and for the first time ever, we are announcing a brand new, 2026 Christmas movie a whole year ahead of schedule.”
She continued to share how she loves to visit this magical place with her 9-year-old daughter Julie and her husband David Nehdar. She also mentioned, “I always thought it would make the absolute perfect setting for a Hallmark Christmas movie.”

The 2026 Hallmark movie Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True will premiere sometime during Countdown To Christmas. It seems likely that this particular movie will premiere during Merry Thanksgiving Weekend in 2026. What is this movie about?
The synopsis also sounds quite fun. “Lindsey (Chabert) ad her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together, but the dream of a jolly holiday gets quickly dashed when Lindsey discovers her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who’s also there on a family trip. As Lindsey and Philip’s paths cross throughout their stay, the frost starts to thaw as they learn they’re not so different from each other after all. Thanks to some Walt Disney World magic, the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella Fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance.”
Besides Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle, Richard Kind and Christy Carlson Romano will also star. This movie was written and directed by Ryan Landels. This writer-director was behind two of the most popular 2024 holiday movies Sugarplummed and Santa Tell Me. This movie should be magical and fun!
Hallmark And Disney Have Long Relationship
What makes this collaboration super fun is that J.C. Hall, Hallmark’s founder, and Walt Disney had a Kansas City connection and long friendship. This led to the first-ever licensed products.
