In a shocking move on Thursday, Hallmark Media has announced that The Way Home Season 4 will be the final season of the hit multi-generational time travel series.
According to People, who exclusively shared the shocking news, the pond-jumping series is wrapping up the Season 4 filming. However, this will be the final set of episodes to tell this enchanting story. This series stars Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh, Sadie Laflamme-Snow and Evan Williams.
Hallmark Media’s SVP of Programming, Samantha DiPippo shared their appreciation for the series and its devoted followers. “Fans of The Way Home have enthusiastically watched and rewatched every episode since the first pond jump of Season 1 as they’ve tried to piece together the brilliant puzzle Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke and Marly Reed expertly crafted.”
We’re grateful to our talented cast led by Andie, Chyler, Evan and Sadie, as well as our amazing writers and crew who have worked so hard on this show.
Season 4 Includes ‘Thrilling Twists And Turns’
It appears that everyone around Hallmark’s hit series The Way Home was aware that Season 4 would be the final season. That means the writers could end the series in the way that they want, despite rumors that they had a plan for five seasons of storytelling.
DiPippo revealed that the upcoming season will include “thrilling twists and turns.” In addition, she promises that “the Landry family’s journey comes to a satisfying close.” Moreover, she promised that “viewers will get the answers they’ve waited for.”
There Is Already A Petition To Save Hallmark Series

When Does ‘The Way Home’ Season 4 Premiere?
The Way Home Season 4 will premiere on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+ in the Spring of 2026. This will be after When Calls The Heart Season 13 airs.
In addition, fans who are watching on Netflix should expect to see the series available to stream later in 2026. Season 3 will be available on the streamer early in 2026.
