Don’t Miss Premiere Of Hallmark’s ‘Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper’
Although Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas 2025 started in the middle of October, premiering with linear channel’s premiere of Mistletoe Murders Season 1, a lot of holiday romcom fans are hesitant to tune in before Halloween. However, they may miss the biggest movie of the season.
Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper is a delightful and upbeat movie that is worth breaking your Halloween fast of spooky movies. One Tree Hill alum Robert Buckley portrays meteorologist Ted Cooper. He is an affable and upbeat guy who has had some Christmas bad luck over the past few years. However, he is going home to Lackawanna, NY for the holidays. Moreover, he is determined that this Christmas will be his best ever.
When he returns, he runs Into Ruth Mittens. She was his high school science teacher. Miss Mittens is there cheering him on. That includes trying encouraging him to go beyond his comfort zone.
Another blast from the past his Ted’s high school crush Dr. Hope Miller (Kimberley Sustad). Thanks to some bad luck and perhaps even some meddling, Hope and Ted find themselves together a lot. Could his be the Christmas that changes everything?
When Is the Hallmark Channel Premiere Of ‘Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper’?
The premiere of Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper is on Saturday, October 25, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. This new movie starring Robert Buckley and Kimberley Sustad will be available to stream the next day on Hallmark+.
More Reasons To Watch Robert Buckley & Kimberley Sustad’s New Hallmark Christmas Movie
If an upbeat and funny movie about a meteorologist and a doctor starring the very comedic Robert Buckley and Kimberley Sustad is not incentive enough, here are some more reasons.
Firstly, the idea for this movie is Robert Buckley’s. It turns out that the One Tree Hill alum’s dream job–besides acting–is being a meteorologist. Next, Russell Hainline wrote the snappy script, based on Buckley’s idea. Hainline wrote last year’s The Santa Class and Netflix’s Hot Frosty. His work is always very whimsical and fun.
Directing this movie is Jason Bourque. Last year, he directed three holiday movies including Our Holiday Story and Reason For The Season.
Lastly, if you are looking for a fun and quirky movie to watch with non-Hallmark friends, this will be a good choice this holiday season.
